An amazing lady

This is an amazing story. Have you read Running with Scissors? I read the two pretty close together and at the end I was very curious as to which had it worse? I haven't come to any final conclusions, but am also curious what other people think.

Oh, I loved loved loved this book! Can't wait to hear your final review. (Re: chris' question above - I'd definitely go with Jeannette Walls; I think Augusten Burroughs - though amazing - writes with a lot of hyperbole.)

Walls's is definitely a survivor to say the least. Her optimistic outlook is an inspiration, as is her writing style. Anyway, I have read Running with Scissors, but I didn't like the way it was written. I do plan on reading other books by Augusten Burroughs out of curiousity. As for which author had it worse? Who knows. Only so much of an experience can be captured at a time. Both have captivating stories.
